For a better future by hydrogen technology

Faculty of Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering
Associate Professor Yuya TACHIKAWA

About the Research

Currently, we are focusing on hydrogen as a next-generation fuel to replace fossil fuels, conducting research into its production and application. Compared to conventional fossil fuels, hydrogen is a new energy carrier. The infrastructure required to deliver it to users remains inadequate, and numerous challenges must be resolved before it can become firmly established in society. I am advancing research into producing and using hydrogen as the underlying infrastructure technology to support these developments.
